Change the title to "William Morris' influence on Tolkien"
editI think the possessive s is incorrect when placed after a name ending with s so can you please change the page's title to reflect that? ~2026-11687-95 (talk) 08:59, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for discussing. No, in British English the possessive can be written with 's even after a word ending in s. The rule over here, such as it is, is that if we Brits pronounce the possessive, we write it like that: and the pronunciation "Morrises" is widespread.
