Partnerships update
edit| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I'd like to propose another update to this Wikipedia article. Following is suggested text related to notable partnerships:
- Wheely has been designated as the official chauffeur for events including Henley Royal Regatta,[1] the DP World Tour[2] and Goodwood Revival.[3]
References
- ↑ Brunner, Emmy (July 21, 2025). "The Uber of the Elite? Wheely Just Became Henley's First Official Chauffeur Partner". The Modems.

- ↑ Gabbit, Anna-Rose (11 September 2025). "Shorts: Worcester Warriors, West Ham United, Fuse". Sport Industry Group.
I think the History section would be most appropriate for this update, but I'll let editors decide what's best. I generally avoid direct editing and ask others to update the article appropriately. Thanks again! Inkian Jason (talk) 17:45, 16 October 2025 (UTC)

Update: NY
edit| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Hi again! I'd like to request another update for this Wikipedia article. The entry does not mention the company's launch in New York, which also marked an entrance to the U.S. market. I propose updating the History section with the following text, which is based on a Bloomberg News source:
- In March 2026, Wheely debuted in the United States by launching service in New York City.[1]
References
- ↑ Lung, Natalie (March 23, 2026). "Luxury Ride-Hailing App Wheely Expands to NYC, Targeting Elites". Bloomberg News.
As a reminder, I am submitting this request on behalf of Wheely as part of my work at Beutler Ink. I don't think this request is particularly contentious, but I generally avoid editing the main space because of my COI and ask a reviewer to update the article appropriately on my behalf.
Thanks in advance for any assistance! Inkian Jason (talk) 14:59, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
Done I used slightly different language, to be a bit more neutral and to make it clearer that the New York expansion is a jumping off point. MetalBreaksAndBends (talk) 14:10, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

Entrepreneur
edit| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
For my next request, I'd like to suggest another addition based on similar text in the current article:
- In 2026, Entrepreneur included Wheely in a list of 100 "startups to watch" in the United Kingdom.[1][2]
References
- ↑ "UK 100: Startups to Watch". Entrepreneur: 101. March 2026.
- ↑ Cullen, Patricia (March 7, 2026). "UK100 Start-Ups: Wheely". Entrepreneur.
I believe this claim is in line with the existing text, "In 2014, Wired listed Wheely as one of the 'hottest' European startups; In 2019, The Financial Times included Wheely in a list of the 1,000 fastest-growing companies in Europe." I wasn't sure which citation format might be preferred, so I've included two for consideration.
I avoid editing the main space and ask others to review and implement this request appropriately.

Introduction language
edit| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
I'd like to submit another request for this article, this time focused on the Introduction. Currently, the lead reads, "... and are available in London, Paris, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. Wheely launched in Dubai in 2024."
This is outdated and it seems unnecessary to call out only the Dubai launch date. I suggest replacing this language with the following:
- ... and are available in London, Paris, New York, Dubai, and Moscow."
The proposed text is up to date (adds New York and Dubai, removes St. Petersburg) and excludes the launch date for only Dubai. Talk:Wheely#Update:_NY above provides a source confirming operations in New York and Dubai service (which is already mentioned and sourced in the article body) is available here, if helpful. You can also view the service areas on the company's website.
I generally avoid editing the main space and seek assistance from others to update the article appropriately.

- @MetalBreaksAndBends I have a follow-up question here. In this request, I had proposed removing the sentence "Wheely launched in Dubai in 2024", since launch dates are not included for any other locations. Is there a reason you think only this launch date should be included, or are you open to removing this sentence as an unnecessary detail for the lead? Thanks, Inkian Jason (talk) 20:37, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- No, that was an accident on my part, probably forgot the removing part when going between this talk page and my editor. I've implemented it now. MetalBreaksAndBends (talk) 22:58, 22 May 2026 (UTC)

Infobox: Area served
edit| This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Related to a couple of the above requests, I would like to suggest an update to the article's Infobox, specifically the Area served field. Currently, the list of countries is "Russia, United Kingdom, France, United Arab Emirates", Since the company now operates in the United States, this country should be added to the list.
With the entries sorted alphabetically, an updated list would be:
- France, Russia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States
Or, if a bulleted list is preferred, then the following markup might be helpful:
- France
- Russia
- United Arab Emirates
- United Kingdom
- United States
Markup:
{{Flatlist|
* France
* Russia
* United Arab Emirates
* United Kingdom
* United States
}}
Again, I don't think this is a particularly controversial request, but I generally avoid the main space because of my COI and ask for independent reviewers to update the article appropriately on my behalf.
Thank you! Inkian Jason (talk) 15:40, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
