The Princess in Nebraska

edit

I added a citation for The Princess of Nebraska without changing the text of the line in which the film was linked (diff). Because the source says the film premiered on the internet, while the line in which it is linked claims it premiered in Toronto in 2007, an additional copyedit is needed. — Athaenara 22:00, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed Improvements to Wayne Wang Article

edit

Hi all, I believe this article could benefit from some updates. I plan to add a “Legacy and Impact” section discussing Wang’s influence as a pioneering Asian-American filmmaker. I also intend to correct several grammatical issues throughout the article. Feedback is welcome! Iampibble (talk) 01:27, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Just added a first pass of the Legacy and Impact section. There’s still a lot more we can dive into regarding his contributions to filmmaking and to Asian and Asian-American representation. I’m also thinking we should eventually add a subsection, either by me or anyone else, about how Asian representation on screen influenced and shaped society both during that era and today. A broader impact essentially. Iampibble (talk) 07:41, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
I feel like the section is too big? And is more appropriate for the film's (Joy Luck Club) article. I think it's appropriate to include his participation in it but it's overly detailed for just his article. BriefEdits (talk) 04:33, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hi! I agree, it could definitely be tightened up a bit, and adding a broader paragraph about its societal influence would help. I can take a pass at shortening it if no one gets to it first. Iampibble (talk) 22:51, 28 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
