The old Sydenham station
editI presume that the old Sydenham station was served by VLine trains before electric trains were extended to Watergardens. Is this right? (I don't know, I haven't lived in Melbourne for nearly two decades). If this is the case, it might be worth mentioning in the article. Alternatively, was the old Sydenham station ever served by electric trains before it was replaced by Watergardens? Does anybody know when the new station opened? Are there any shops or anything near the station or is it just surrounded by houses? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.153.2.2 (talk • contribs) 05:50, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
Track layout
editThe current platform layout as shown in the Track Layout is incorrect, as it shows platforms 1 and 2 on an island platform, with platform 3 as a single side platform. In fact platform 1 is a single platform on the up tracks (eastern side of the station), and platforms 2 and 3 are on the island platform. Rmacfarl (talk) 04:37, 15 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for pointing out. I have fixed the track layout to have Platform 1 as the side platform. Purin475 (talk) 06:48, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
