Merge or disambiguation?

Should we merge the WQED-FM and WQED-TV articles into one WQED article (like the WGBH article), or should we keep them seperate and change the WQED article from a redirect to the TV station to a disambiguation page? (WQEX can remain seperate, as it isn't quite a public television station these days...) 24.61.119.222 16:15, 24 September 2005 (UTC)

while it's never reason enough to do something simply because it's done at another article, this would probably work quite well for these two stations.

Isn't being a "community owned" station what being a PBS station is all about?

no, other entities can own a station and still have it be public, i.e. schools, governments, unions...

please don't change the article from WQED-TV, that is how tv stations in the usa are known. and don't link programs to neighbourhoods, it makes no sense.

One article vs. three

There is currently a disambiguation page titled WQED. Rather than having three articles (WQED, WQED-TV, WQED-FM), they could all be merged into WQED. The radio page is a stub, and the television page gives information about both. It would provide for easier navigation of the pages--Questions99 (talk) 16:17, 26 February 2012 (UTC)

Additionally, ref tags have not been placed within the text at the exact positions where the information they reference resides. Instead, directions were placed in the request about what to fix. Directions can be included, but you need to phrase the text as how it shall appear in the article. In the example above the references have been formatted according to Citation Style 1, which shows the author, the source's name, date, etc. Also, the ref tags are placed in the exact location where the text which they reference resides.
