I'll take this review. Please respond to comments with {{done}}, {{not done}}, etc. Note that I may make some suggestions that are beyond the GA criteria - my aim is to make the article as good as possible - but I will only pass/fail based on the criteria. - @Sammi Brie: Good work on this article. Just one ref error plus some suggestions. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 06:31, 29 August 2025 (UTC)

Infobox and lede
- I recommend using {{start date}} rather than {{start date and age}}; for most purposes other than ongoing events, the age is not important enough for the infobox.
Done Go yell at Mvcg.
- Doesn't seem to be changed.
- I'm confused about the "owner" field in the infobox - from the prose, it sounds like Greater Cincinnati Television Educational Foundation is associated with WCET, not WPTO
Not done The license is held by them, so that won't change. Basically, Public Media Connect is one organization that has two sub-brands: CET (WCET) and ThinkTV (WPTD and WPTO).
- Link to CUF, Cincinnati (when discussing the transmitter location)
Done
History
- Reuse the same footnote that appears in the infobox about the first air date
Done
- I'd recommend splitting the first sentence in two, and reversing the order to talk about the closed-circuit telecast that preceded broadcasting.
Done
- I recommend creating the redirect WMUB-TV and bolding its first use in this article per MOS:BOLDREDIRECT
- The fact the redirect didn't exist is stunning. But we've been moving away from bolding every single call sign that appears in an article in recent years.
- Specify which station
to run that station
refers to
Done Changes to here: Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 02:21, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Several sentences in the first paragraph under "Split programming" are confusing; I think it needs rewritten a tad for clarity. I'm particularly confused by
the two stations split for fewer than 10 programs
Done
- The final sentence is unclear - on May 1, 2020, did WPTO resume full power broadcasting, or something else?
Done
Subchannels
- Again, link CUF
- The second sentence should be split in two for readability
References
All reference numbers are from this version.
- Ref 2 could use additional parameters (publisher, ISBN, etc) if available.
Done Believe it or not, this is the first time I've put an ISBN on this source.
- Refs 4 and 34 could use an access date
Not done Special cases as these are database sources that update. [4] is actually dynamically generated by the infobox.
- Ref 25 has an error
Done
- Refs 8, 13, 21, 28, and 34 were checked for verification. All passed except ref 28, which mentions WPTD but not WPTO. I think ref 29 is sufficient for that claim if you're not able to find another source.
Done Removed. I must have copied from WPTD, where it'd belong.
