Hi! My name is Sharon and I'm an employee at W. P. Carey. I'll do my best to follow Wikipedia's rules for COI editing. @Melted Brie helped me navigate some of this process.

I would like to suggest adding this sentence to the end of the Programs section:

"The W. P. Carey School also offers executive education programs, including custom programs for organizations and certificates for working professionals."[1]

I would like to phrase it as neutrally as possible to meet Wikipedia's standards and avoid self-promotional language. It is a major part of W. P. Carey's history and programs. Other business school Wikipedia articles also reference executive education: Kellogg School of Management, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Foster School of Business, Ross School of Business.

In the future, would it be possible to create an Executive Education section? I noticed that some other business school Wikipedia articles have one: Harvard Business School#Executive education, Wharton School#Executive education.

@AlphaBetaGamma: I know you reviewed the first draft of edits and was wondering if you could review this request if possible? Thank you! Sharon Liu (ASU) (talk) 18:06, 11 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Sharon Liu (ASU): Cleaned up some of the formatting of the request. The one thing you'll need to do before anyone approves this is identify a source to which that new sentence can be cited, whether in the article already or new. 🔼  Clarification requested

  • It's not immediately clear what is meant by executive education program.
  • The provided references mention this term, but pointedly, they do not explicitly define it. How is this program different from what the school usually offers? What would be helpful is to activate the |quote= parameter, and place quotes from the various source references (if any) that succintly explains this difference.
  • Please also provide a H:WIKILINK for the term.
  • When ready to proceed with the requested information, kindly change {{Edit COI}} answer parameter to read from |ans=y to |ans=n.

@Spintendo We have an article on executive education, which would be worth wikilinking here and would obviate the need to define the concept in this article. Melted BrieASU (onward to victory · t · c) 17:09, 27 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
