Uncontroversial material should not be deleted just because it is unsourced. DGG (talk) 17:58, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

you ask for inline quotations--to support just what? Exactly what is it that you challenge?
More generally, there is considerable discussion at the V talk page & elsewhere about the justification or lack of it for putting source tags on uncontroversial statements. Personally, I think it diverts energy from challenging and sourcing the controversial ones, and is not a constructive way of improving the encyclopedia. We obviously disagree on this.
A sourced example seems to have been removed, so I've restored it. 20:57, 15 July 2007 (UTC)—Preceding unsigned comment added by DGG (talkcontribs)
The {{inline}} clean-up tag is used for situations where references are provided, however there aren't any footnotes. I'm not sure why this is upsetting you. 23:06, 15 July 2007 (UTC)
