As happy as I am that this page was written, I kind of feel that there are too many pics. It feels cluttered for an article this size. Either: a) some need removal, b)some need reduced in size or c) the article needs expansion...

While I agree the page look bad, I'm not sure it's the number of pictures that is the problem; it may just be formatting.

Quick apology

edit

My apology. I thought I was logged in when I added the link to the UTA new electronic fare page.

UTA FrontRunner station names

edit
Provo Station

Is there a reason why "station" is not capitalized, and why it is not used in all the station names? For example, the article is at Provo station (Utah Transit Authority), when the picture (right) clearly shows that "Station" is part of the name. In the interest of consistency, I think it would be good to move all of them to be at "xxx Station", with "Station" in the name and capitalized. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 21:13, 5 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed change to all bus connection lists

edit

Hello Everyone,

I think it is time to change up how we portray bus connections at rail stations. The current method, as shown here, is inefficient for editors. Most of these lists have not been updated in at least 3 to 4 years. It is a burden to put on us to keep this overly-detailed method updated. Most other cities' transit stations have only route numbers displayed, such as here. I will be altering all pages, starting with the S line stations, over the next few days to cut down unnecessary information. For pages about transit centers, perhaps we can keep a more detailed list. Please, if anyone opposes this, let me know, and if necessary, I can revert all edits made. Thanks. RES2773 (talk) 04:25, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Fleet

edit

As a person who works for UTA, the fleet was correct a while ago, and is now inaccurate. All the VanHool A300Ls are now retired, so they should be off the fleet. To add on to that, 10001 is actually a 2009 model while 10002-10037 are 2010 models. Thats why it had its own box.

Fleet corrections

edit

As a frequent rider of UTA, I can personally say that the current active fleet list on the page is severely incorrect, as there are busses on the list that are not vehicles that UTA owns and operates. 17 out of the 50 sets of vehicles listed (first column specifically) don't actually operate, or are incorrect to there actual vehicles. New page for List of Routes

edit

The current page is getting pretty long and cluttered with the lists/tables of all the current routes. Most wiki pages for mid to larger agencies have this information in a separate dedicated article that can be accessed from the original. (See AC Transit and Valley Transportation Authority as examples).

I've created List of UTA Routes and transfered the tables that User:LeonZah made, into it. All credit for the tables goes to him. Having a separate article for this information makes Utah Transit Authority much more readable. I've made some minor changes to the tables to improve readability and fix a few typos. I also added UTA's naming convention for bus routes at the top, with source listed.
