Article title and name change
editWhat's the rationale? The edit summary for the move claims the Royals website doesn't suffix FC as often, but they're still extensively using "Utah Royals FC" and "URFC" in their own press releases and branding, such as https://www.rsl.com/utahroyals/news/utah-royals-fc-unveil-plans-for-2024-training-home-at-zions-bank-real-academy. Their major social media handles all still use "Utah Royals FC" in either the username, display name, or both: Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter. Coverage is mixed but still uses "Utah Royals FC", including recent coverage: KSL on 26 October, Deseret News on 26 October, CBS on 26 October. -71.34.68.224 (talk) 02:42, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
- First-party https://www.rsl.com/utahroyals/news/urfc-prepares-for-friday-s-2024-nwsl-draft, and every transaction announcement since November, names the team as "Utah Royals FC"
- The league as a second party consistently lists the team as "Utah Royals FC": https://www.nwslsoccer.com/nwsldraft, https://www.nwslsoccer.com/utah-royals-fc
- Third-party sources name the team "Utah Royals FC":
- https://www.deseret.com/sports/2023/10/26/23932658/utah-royals-fc-announces-new-training-facility
- https://www.sltrib.com/sports/2023/12/17/utah-royals-fc-add-two-attacking/
- https://www.sltrib.com/sports/rsl/2023/11/20/utah-royals-add-three-more-players/ list the team as "Utah Royals FC"
- What's the rationale for renaming the article again? -71.34.68.224 (talk) 23:17, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
