editWhere? What zero-brain puts that in a tooltip? Snots != brains FFS.
PS. This article is toxic but the demagogues who are pushing their agenda have locked it down. So typical and it's nothing we've not seen before. This is a Wikipedia article - keep your agendas at home in our own closet!
Usain Bolt's Olympic Golds

Dr. Herb Elliot link
editThe link to Doctor Herb Elliot links to 1960 Olympic 1500m winner Herb Elliot, not Jamaican Doctor Herb Elliot who the link should go to.

The past tense is appropriate ... after a while
editIn the "Usain_Bolt#Financial_crisis" (sub-) section, which is part of the "Usain_Bolt#Personal_life" section, the last sentence currently (as of the Latest revision as of 21:54, 18 May 2026) says: [QUOTE:]
However, no such payout has occurred as of February 2025.[257]
I would expect (or 'accept') a "current status" wording like this -- (that is, "has occurred") -- if it were still February 2025 or ... even if it were still 2025.
However, now it has been more than a year, and that paragraph (including that sentence) does not say anything about whether or not any "such payout has occurred" after February 2025.
Therefore, I think we have waited long enough, and it is probably time for the wording of that sentence to be updated, to say
However, no such payout had occurred as of February 2025.[257]
... that is, using "had occurred" instead of "has occurred".
I would have inserted that (tiny! one character) change myself, but apparently, now, the status of this article is such that ... suggestions or "ideas" like this, have to be submitted here. Hence this suggestion or "idea".
