This article needs serious revision after GoDaddy acquisition in 2020
editThis article needs to be updated to explain more clearly what went to GoDaddy as part of the acquisition in 2020. See:
- https://web.archive.org/web/20210310083101/https://www.godaddy.com/garage/uniregistrys-registrar-and-marketplace-joining-godaddy/
- https://web.archive.org/web/20210211204334/https://uniregistry.com/blog/post/better-together
It seems the registrar and the domain name portfolio went over to GoDaddy, but the registry services remained with company... and now seems to be "UNR - Uni Naming and Registry" - https://uniregistry.link/
Anyway... this article needs updating to sort out what is with who. - Dyork (talk) 00:31, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- I agree with the above. There are information gaps in the article, specifically in recent years' development. I added the 'outdated' tag to the relevant section until it's resolved. Shalom11111 (talk) 15:45, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
