U.S. Patriot batteries
editPer TWZ the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs confirmed that two U.S. MIM-104 Patriot batteries totaling 44 soldiers, deployed from Korea and Japan, were the entire defensive force present on the base during the attack. It's good that he specified two batteries, because 44 soldiers implies around 50% staffing for just one battery, so these were running pretty close to skeleton crews for two. If we can find reliable sources that specify which two batteries these were, we should add them to the ORBAT. Unfortunately sources haven't specified which. Something to keep an eye out for in case that changes. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 07:11, 27 June 2025 (UTC)

- The current order includes most of your proposed list with additional details and there are no sources suggesting the participation of your added units. Please don't blank the page or replace content backed up by sources and references. Mehrad SH 19:18, 19 July 2025 (UTC)
Source Credibility
@Charles Miller 2007 The OoB already listed every formation that reliable sources place in a combat or command role. High‑quality coverage of the June 2025 war says the Revolutionary Guard and Basij paramilitary units handled the post‑ceasefire internal security mission, while no mainstream source identifies the "Preventive Police, Agahi Police or NOPO" as part of the wartime order of battle. Reuters describes Revolutionary Guard and Basij forces setting up checkpoints and border deployments, with no reference to police combat units.[1] The Guardian article using the same on‑the‑ground reporting likewise lists only IRGC and Basij security deployments, not police formations.[2] Even the Financial Times piece on the post‑war hunt for Mossad agents merely notes Basij volunteers “working alongside police” and does not name any specific police branch in an operational role.[3] One of the sources that you provided at doesn't state anything about the Iranian Police, only "Security Institutions" and the other one at only says "Iran’s Law Enforcement Command" and doesn't mention any of the institutions you mentioned. Please don't revert my or other users' edits including the "verification needed" templates until a decision is made at the dispute board:

I'm afraid until you can find a credible source that explicitly and clearly mentions "Preventive Police, Agahi Police or NOPO", this argument is debunk as all the sources I've checked and you provided only mention the Police command of Iran. Mehrad SH 05:50, 20 July 2025 (UTC)
