Talk:Transit Driver Appreciation Day

It's fair that this has been flagged for close connection, as I'm the one who initiated the holiday. But I am not affiliated with the "official" web site, and a quick web search (or social media scan of #tdad in March) will turn up countless references around the world, so I hope a most-disinterested party will see fit to edit as appropriate. Failed "good article" nomination

edit

This article has failed its Good article nomination. This is how the article, as of March 5, 2025, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Most of the prose concerns the history of a single website rather than the event itself.
2. Verifiable?: Most sources are primary and a few are from fan blogs that would need to be replaced with better secondary sources.
3. Broad in coverage?: The article is far too short to be comprehensive, but is at risk of becoming an "example farm". There's plenty more to be written, however, beyond just examples of host agencies.
4. Neutral point of view?: Pass Pass
5. Stable?: There are several tags that have not been resolved since being placed in 2018.
6. Images?: There could at least be some kind of illustration added.

It's far, far too soon for this article to be nominated. Please consider looking at other commemorative day GAs for an idea of how to structure and expand the article before nominating again.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be renominated. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to have it reassessed. Thank you for your work so far.— SounderBruce 17:37, 5 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
