Requested move 9 October 2025

edit

The result of the move request was: moved. The first proposal will not be moved per WP:NOPRIMARY. However, The Thing with FeathersThe Thing with Feathers (Grimm) per WP:NOPRIMARY to disambiguate both. (closed by non-admin page mover) veko. – Per pageviews stats, the film is viewed a lot more. I know the potential risks of recent-ism, but I'm unconvinced that the TV episode of Grimm is more popular and would make a huger impact than the film, honestly. George Ho (talk) 18:42, 9 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

  • disambiguate both - WP:NOPRIMARY I don't want to see us fully replace a page destination that has such a long history with different content. Disambiguating both is better as a transition step which can be revisited sometime in the future when we see what the average view settle down to in a few years - and I suspect it will continue to be the long term solution. -- Netoholic @ 22:04, 11 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • disambiguate both Maybe if it had 500k pageviews like If I Had Legs I'd Kick You or Twinless but having recent pageviews just over double the Grimm topic is hardly surprising or indicative of primacy. This could easily change some time after the theatrical release. As Netoholic suggested, it should be revisited then. Until then, this is too recent. Wikinav is not even showing incoming pageviews coming from the Grimm article at all. And the Grimm article has had a hatnote linking to the film since the day before its premiere in January 2025. edit

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: This appears to be about a notable topic. However, I wanted to note that new sources are available for use now and would serve well to be added to this article. The critical reception sections could be expanded with them, in particular.
