Lovecraft's involvement
editThe article only mentions Lovecraft in the context of Wright's reluctance to publish Lovecraft's more lurid stuff after the controversy surrounding this story. But the Wikisource article attached appears to be claiming that Lovecraft co-wrote this story with Eddy.
This article quotes Campbell criticizing the story as a "distastefully sensationalist revision" in an article titled "Lovecraft in Retrospect", but doesn't detail who was responsible for the revision or why Campbell is associating it with Lovecraft.
Did something get cut out of this article? And why remove material but leave references to the excised material? 2603:9001:4500:1C09:DC04:49:7183:2783 (talk) 16:36, 5 June 2025 (UTC)
