What is the source for the set list? 2603:8000:2600:128A:890A:E238:8D55:B725 (talk) 04:23, 1 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

The tour has not even started, so it is too soon to ask for a source on the set list. On top of that, there won't be any sources from Setlist.fm as it is user-generated content and is not reliable per WP:NOTRSMUSIC. HorrorLover555 (talk) 10:33, 1 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Choose Your Own Adventure! segment

edit

Katy Perry revealed that during the "Choose Your Own Adventure" segment, each continent will be represented by one of her albums, and fans will get to choose two songs she will perform. I had already added this information to the page with a source, but someone deleted it. Editedit446 (talk) 15:25, 24 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

While that is true, the citation via Entertainment Focus does not disclose which song(s) were part of this section. Not to mention, the table was improper, per MOS:ACCESS and several sub-categories of the manual of style (nor do I think we need a table at this juncture). Perhaps after tomorrow night's concert—if a reliable source becomes available—or if additional sources from last night's show become available, we can determine [which] were the "adventure" songs (although, not sure we would be capitalizing the "Choose your own adventure" section). livelikemusic (TALK!) 15:32, 24 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
And as suspected, Rolling Stone provided sourcing that verified which songs were part of the segment, so in sticking to what's reported (and what's reported only), this information was added. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:37, 24 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Why don't we organize the surprise songs in a table? Just like in The Eras Tour article Guilherme bacp (talk) 23:50, 25 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

There's no need for that; it's unnecessary. Plus, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. livelikemusic (TALK!) 00:39, 26 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Cancelled show in Tokyo on December 4th

edit

The show is cancelled! See message below sent to ticket holders:

Notice of Cancellation for Katy Perry's December 4th (Additional Show) and Information on Additional Tickets for the December 3rd Show

Dear Customer,

Thank you very much for your continued support.

We sincerely appreciate your application for the December 4th (Thursday) additional performance of Katy

Perry I The Lifetimes Tour in Japan.

We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the additional show scheduled for Thursday, December 4th has been cancelled.

We sincerely apologize for the sudden announcement and any disappointment caused to those who applied for this performance. 172.109.168.196 (talk) 21:46, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Meaning you and others who bought tickets got privately emailed the above? A public link containing that message or something else on cancellation would be ideal to have. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 21:48, 21 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
The show not being listed on katyperry.com should be a valid reason to not have it displayed here either 72.53.117.45 (talk) 14:01, 25 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, the listing has been removed from the main table and I'm not sure why I didn't think to look on her website sooner, but at least for now I'll hold off on adding to the "canceled shows" section since it isn't yet clear what exactly led to this. It would look incomplete to add there without any cancelation rationale. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 16:59, 25 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not sure what this type of request qualifies as, but I was at the first Buenos Aires show last night (September 9th, 2025) and the surprise songs were “What Makes A Woman” and “Never Really Over” from the ‘Smile’ (2020) era. Additionally, when she brought two fans on stage, one asked Perry to sing “The One That Got Away” from the ‘Teenage Dream’ (2010) album. So, technically, the first two songs were Buenos Aires’ “official” surprise songs, while the latter was sung following a fan’s request (just like when Perry sang the Happy Birthday song after a fan revealed it was their birthday). I was hoping I could edit the Surprise Songs list myself but since it is protected, I am not allowed to do so. Therefore, I share this information in hopes that someone with access to edit this page can do it. Cheers! Xoxobasic (talk) 14:25, 10 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Loyaltty needs to be added as the opening act for Santiago.[1]
For UK shows, Goldie Boutilier will serve as the opening act, except for the last London show, which will be opened by Au/Ra. For the remaining European dates, Becky Hill will open.[2] 67.7.62.53 (talk) 04:05, 27 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

I mean, why wouldn't we consider them as part of the tour? The website clearly lists them under The Lifetimes Tour banner. The setlist might be shortened/adjusted to the festival settings, but that does not mean they are not part of the tour. Sricsi (talk) 20:31, 2 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Is there a third-party published, reliable source from a news site that reports on this as part of the tour? HorrorLover555 (talk) 23:49, 2 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
None that I have found so far. The ads for festivals I did come across outside of her website make no mention of her tour. Unless she or someone else involved with the festivals later say otherwise, I'm inclined to think that tour banner was just to show that the tour still is going on, and the linked page is just providing a general schedule of big performances coming up. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 00:13, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Hello. Katy follows an Instagram user named kursatperry, who posted a story about these upcoming festivals. Katy replied to his story, saying "they miswrote," suggesting that these festivals are NOT connected to the Lifetimes Tour or the 143 era. I personally think they're promoting these festivals under the Lifetimes Tour banner because the tour is currently happening in Europe and is drawing in crowds—essentially for promotional reasons. 143kittypurry (talk) 01:18, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris

Hi! Katy just announced her third concert film The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris, which will premiere on June 8, 2026 during the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival. I'm not sure which section of the article is the best fit for this information. Pinging @SNUGGUMS for any insights regarding this. Thanks! 143kittypurry (talk) 16:31, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
