The Horror at Red Hook as part of the Cthulhu Mythos? Why? No connection with any other Mythos places, tomes, deities or even ideas-all and all a straight tale of devil worship based on real life magic and cults.

The article talks about the detective going to Suydam's "flat" and then to its basement. But a flat is an apartment with all rooms on one floor, hence the name. It's been a while since I've read this story, but either the apartment is not a flat, or the basement is just the basement of the apartment building, not for a particular apartment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.82.27.143 (talk) 18:38, 17 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
