Suspended from Brown U.

edit

reading his autobiography the reason he was suspended from brown is he was disruptive and drunk at Wheaton College, not the reason mentioned here. RPMcMurphyNEST (talk) 14:54, 18 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

The following request is to fix an error in grammar (verb tense). The error is located in the first paragraph of the "Legacy" section, just below the photos. Please change X "Turner has been regarded as one of the entrepreneurs who transformed the cable industry and being referred to as "the Alexander the Great of broadcasting" by Slate magazine:" to Y "Turner has been regarded as one of the entrepreneurs who transformed the cable industry and has been referred to as "the Alexander the Great of broadcasting" by Slate magazine:"

In summary, the request is to make "being" change to "has been". Thank You. ~2026-20250-35 (talk) 10:53, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Reference 106 contains multiple grammatical and spelling errors and suspected to be inaccurate. ~2026-27568-14 (talk) 03:28, 7 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before posting an edit request. There is no consensus that United Press International, a news agency similar to Associated Press, is considered an unreliable source from what I've found looking through WP:RSN, and spelling/grammar issues in a source do not automatically make it unreliable.  Not done. It's not clear what changes you want to make. Deacon Vorbis (carbon  videos) 13:32, 7 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Turner turned the Braves?

edit

Shouldn't this say Turner owned? ~2026-28292-14 (talk) 23:16, 10 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

(for anyone wondering what this comment is about) the sentence said "Turner turned the Atlanta Braves baseball team, who won the 1995 World Series under his ownership, into a nationally popular franchise, and founded the charitable Goodwill Games". While this is grammatically correct if you read every word, I split this sentence up and made the order of the clauses simpler and more direct. Unknown Temptation (talk) 11:02, 11 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
