Requested move 27 February 2018
editCommission for Financial Literacy and Retirement Income → Commission for Financial Capability – The current title (Commission for Financial Literacy and Retirement Income) is the old name of this organisation. The new name is Commission for Financial Capability, and has been for three years or more, per the 'From the Retirement Commissioner' section on Page 2 of the 2015 annual report https://www.cffc.org.nz/assets/Uploads/CFFC-Annual-Report-2015.pdf. This is already reflected in the first paragraph of the wiki. Cordiage (talk) 09:08, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

Notability
editI'd prefer not to edit this page directly as I have a work-related interest, but just flagging (in response to the page's recent tag) that the Commission certainly meets the general notability guidance and the notability guidelines for organisations. It's one of New Zealand's statutory Crown entities, and subject to extensive media coverage. Recent examples include:
- Most Kiwis say they’re ‘not prospering’: Retirement Commission data | The Post,
- Women feeling brunt of tough economy, Retirement Commission data shows | RNZ News
- Retirement Commission launches a new calculator to help make savings last | RNZ
- Commissioner steps up amid delayed retirement village law review - Newsroom
- Retirement Commission highlights downsizing challenges for New Zealanders - NZ Herald
The page in its current form does rely heavily on primary sources, and that could certainly be improved. Cheers, Chocmilk03 (talk) 21:59, 14 August 2025 (UTC)
