Kingdom of Kodungallur, not Kingdom of Corona
editSomeone changed it to Corona to live up to the meme currently circulating on Facebook. Now the article is locked with the incorrect name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.24.48.3 (talk) 17:42, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
- It has been Corona in the article for years, this is not a recent change. Geraldo Perez (talk) 18:05, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
What's special about the number 700??
editThe rule at Wikipedia says that Disney movie plots must have a maximum of 700 words, but why 700?? Georgia guy (talk) 12:57, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
- WP:FILMPLOT recommends 400-700 words. It is recommended for all Wikipedia film articles. Nothing to do with Disney specifically. -- 109.79.172.43 (talk) 14:38, 15 September 2021 (UTC)
Dreamlight Valley mention
editRapunzel and Flynn Rider are both in that game now but only Mother Gothel is currently listed. I’m not entirely sure which articles are the best sources to use though. 2601:244:4601:90B0:558D:9D2E:41C0:2362 (talk) 21:44, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
June 2025
edit@Geraldo Perez: Yes it is; why do you think it isn't? GOLDIEM J (talk) 01:26, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- It is his actual name as credited in the film. It is an alias, not a nickname. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:42, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
Does Eugene really die?
editCurrently, the Plot section states that Eugene dies at the end, but Rapunzel's tear brings him back to life. Is there evidence of this? I was of the impression that he merely comes close to death. If he actually dies and is resurrected, we need a source for this claim. — Smjg (talk) 22:52, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
- In movies, characters frequently die and get subsequently revived. We clearly see him die, and get revived by said tear. ~2026-30208-57 (talk) 05:38, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- How is it clear that he's dead, not just unconscious? — Smjg (talk) 11:48, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
- Rewatching the scene, Eugene is completely motionless for several seconds, so saying that he "comes close to death" needs a source because that is an interpretation of what everybody else can see in the scene, not the other way around. Tbhotch™ (CC BY-SA 4.0) 05:58, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- I'm finding it hard to measure the length of time he's completely motionless. But someone can be motionless for a number of reasons, including being asleep or in a coma.
- Why have you singled out saying that he "comes close to death" as needing a source? To state that he actually dies no less needs a source. Does John actually die in hospital in Ted 2? What actually happens in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when Voldemort performs the killing curse on Harry, he meets Dumbledore in heaven but then he wakes up again? I've seen it stated that a limit of magic is established in that universe whereby, whilst things like Horcruxes and the Resurrection Stone exist, it is impossible to truly bring someone back to life. This shows that we have to be careful about death, even more so in works of fantasy fiction. Maybe the best we can do is say that he "apparently dies".... — Smjg (talk) 11:48, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
