The Nashville Network → TNN (American TV channel) – "TNN" seems to be the WP:COMMONNAME in contemporary and retrospective references to the network. "American" would be required in the name since Thailand also has a network by that name. Compare CMT (American TV channel). - Comment The history of this TV network is currently split across two articles; this one, and Paramount Network. If we want to go with TNN (American TV channel) as an article title, that would mean moving content related to The National Network/The New TNN over to this article; otherwise the title is ambiguous. That may not be uncontroversial, as The National Network's programming was not country-related and more similar to Spike/Paramount's. One could also argue that the split is not necessary, and the whole thing could be in one article. 162 etc. (talk) 19:40, 11 October 2025 (UTC)

- I think merging everything together probably makes the most sense. Agnieszka653 (talk) 22:00, 19 October 2025 (UTC)
- I placed a notice at Talk:Paramount Network since merging content from that article is part of this discussion. —Myceteae🍄🟫(talk) 21:53, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- Support move. The article currently does cover The National Network, The New TNN, and Spike in the section The Nashville Network § Format change with a hatnote to Paramount Network. I agree that "TNN" is the common name and the article's scope does include the other TNN iterations. A merger is not necessary to justify this move. It makes sense to cover "The New TNN" in both articles and I defer to other editors to determine where the bulk of coverage should live and whether content changes are needed at either article. —Myceteae🍄🟫 (talk) 16:42, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
