Edits being Deleted

edit

Good Afternoon,

I have been trying to make edits for this faculty member on their wikipedia page and I have had my material deleted twice now. Looking through the version history, reasons include Conflict of Interest COI and poor sources. I am struggling to understand what both of these reasons conclude and how I can go about fixing the problems with my material. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from someone! ~2025-34961-93 (talk) 18:46, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I think it was probably me who reverted your changes once, if you were posting as ~2025-33553-36 (talk · contribs). I can't see another recent reversion. There were two problems with the edits. Firstly, the edit summary Working on draft material with the approval of this author for GWU indicated that the editor had a conflict of interest. I posted the guidance about that to the editor's Talk page. We ask that, where editors have a CoI, they do not edit the article directly, but request changes on the article's Talk page. Secondly, not all of the text was supported by reliable published sources. The two sentences starting She directs projects, the paragraph starting Previously, Susan and the end of the following paragraph were not sourced. Please do read the CoI guidance and referencing for beginners. Tacyarg (talk) 19:19, 19 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
