Removed the ODA number
editI removed the ODA number for the SF units that deployed to Taiwan, as it's not sourced and it's incorrect for a number of reasons. First, ODAs are numbered on a 4-digit system. There is no ODA 121, you're missing a digit at the end. The first two digits would be correct for a team from 2/1SFG; however the third digit is based on the assigned ODB (which the source does not indicate -- we can guess that it's the first ODB for Alpha Co but we don't know for certain) and the fourth digit is for the specific ODA assigned to it (as there are multiple ODAs per ODB) and we don't know that either. Additionally, it's unclear and frankly unlikely that an entire ODA was sent anyway. The Taiwan News source says these were three-man teams, not an entire ODA. Additionally, it's almost always the case that when you see SF deployed in oddly-sized detachments like this, those guys are from the ODB and not part of an A-team. So, we don't have sourcing to indicate with the level of granularity that you wanted, but the statement that these were ODA 121 is simply not correct. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 16:04, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
