"industry" can't be "companies"
editI removed a clarification request claiming that "industry" can't be "companies". Industry (a branch of economy) is composed of many companies. I see nothing wrong with this statement. It took me seconds to find a book that states: "another definition of the term is that an industry is composed of companies who...".
