I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thank you for your work on this article. Please add more sources - primarily secondary sources - and establish notability as per WP:NORG. Thanks and have a good day!

@Mariamnei: Thank you for the feedback. I have added secondary sources from The Forward (2013) and the Jewish Telegraphic Agency (2008) and posted a fuller notability argument in the section below. Please let me know if you have further concerns. Wrongtired18 (talk) 20:06, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Notability and sources

edit

I believe the notability and primary sources tags are no longer warranted. The article now cites independent secondary sources including:

  • The Forward (2013) — substantial independent coverage of the Slingshot Guide's impact on the Jewish nonprofit sector
  • Jewish Telegraphic Agency (2008) — independent news coverage of the organization
  • eJewish Philanthropy (2019) — independent coverage of the organization's history

The Slingshot Fund has operated for over two decades, published 13+ editions of its guide, distributed over $3 million in grants, and received sustained coverage in the independent Jewish press. I believe it meets WP:NORG notability criteria. Happy to discuss. Wrongtired18 (talk) 19:56, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

@Wrongtired18 - I have removed the notability tag as I agree that these three sources narrowly establish notability. If you can expand and further improve it, it would recommend doing that. Have a wonderful day! Mariamneireach out 🕊️ 09:08, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I will try to expand it while also maintaining NPOV. But thanks for pushing me to make the entry better! Wrongtired18 (talk) 13:00, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
