- Thank you so much. I have been working in other projects and had really ignored this article for a while, so feel free to help expanding it. 21 Andromedae (talk) 12:47, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- I mean can you also gave some of your knowledge to this article and also planning to make one on Procyon B. Abdullah1099 (talk) 12:49, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- Moved the page into Sirius B. Further updates will be done on it Abdullah1099 (talk) 14:41, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- I reverted the page move since the article still appears incomplete, e.g. sections like 'search on planets' don't address any search for planets and i still think there is a lot of content missing. It still needs some improvement so that we can publish a complete article. 21 Andromedae (talk) 15:57, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, No Problem Abdullah1099 (talk) 17:18, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

- Hey @JeBonSer, I currently working on the article and planning to solve the problems Abdullah1099 (talk) 17:20, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @21.Andromedae, Can you also help in completing this draft and rectifying the problem Abdullah1099 (talk) 17:21, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @21.Andromedae, I had found two citations for Planet search section Abdullah1099 (talk) 17:59, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- There is no copyright issue. What there is is a website copying material from the Sirius page, which is also used here. They don't own the copyright of their content, but we do. 21 Andromedae (talk) 18:01, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, I understood but i think we should complete these work. I am now adding more citations. Abdullah1099 (talk) 18:08, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- @21.Andromedae: I believe you now that this copyright issue is a mistake. You can now resubmit your drafted article back to the AfC so I can accept it there for you later. The duplicated source from the other website, which may have been copied from Wikipedia, is not attributing the specified text which you have originally contributed that has been previously removed by me, and you had reverted. It's the fault of the author of the content from the other website who may have been duplicated from the Wikipedia source because of not properly attributing it to the Wikipedia source; that is why the drafted article is mistakenly tagged with copyright issue... My apology and sorry for the inconvenience. JeBonSer (talk) 02:23, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, @JeBonSer after finishing it i will resubmit it Abdullah1099 (talk) 02:36, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hey @21.Andromedae, I want to ask you permission is the article complete for AfC submission or not. Also tell what are things left Abdullah1099 (talk) 04:28, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- Ok, @JeBonSer after finishing it i will resubmit it Abdullah1099 (talk) 02:36, 3 March 2026 (UTC)

QPQ:
- Not done
Overall:
Very interesting article and nice hook. Perhaps it could be made more interesting with the comparison reversed, namely ALT1: ... that the star Sirius B is slightly smaller than the Earth (comparison pictured)? Ping me when the QPQs are done. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 18:29, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- @AirshipJungleman29: Good to go for ALT1 and the 2nd QPQ has already been provided. JeBonSer (talk) 20:07, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry JeBonSer, I don't see the second QPQ? ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 20:08, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
- Typing at the same time, it appears.
Approved. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 20:09, 10 March 2026 (UTC)
Planet
editAccording to exoplanet.eu, Sirius B maybe has a planet, however it is unconfirmed Fred1000000000 (talk) 17:37, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
- This was already mentioned at the Sirius talk page. I agree that the relevant paper should be cited; it discusses limits on possible planets, but there isn't a clear detection of a planet candidate. SevenSpheres (talk) 19:23, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
