editThe text reads "Ferdinand's brother advised him to build a bridge to cross the river lower down the stream to get to the other side, but the Castilian overruled him."
Ferdinand of Aragon, the husband of Isabella of Castile, was by definition, Aragonian. Perhaps it would be best to describe Ferdinand as ' the king'
