Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.
If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.

This article is woefully unsourced, and has been so for over a decade.
We are removing unsourced biographical to conform with wikipedia guidelines for biographies.
You can help by sourcing any additions, and citing correctly.

I've fixed the attempts at sourcing: bare urls; sources that made no sense; etc. It has reliable sourcing for most things except her early history in Cape Breton. I know she was born in 1954, but I cannot find a proper source for her birth year or birth date. So, obviously that cannot go into the article at present. If the Cape Breton Post's archives were online, I'm sure there are a few articles from 1970 to 1975 that mention her age, her Holy Angels schooling and her early years at CJCB-TV.–– Abebenjoe (talk) 21:03, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
