Third person to win blizzcon and IEM world championship

edit

The article says that Serral is the second person, that before him only Rogue had done it, but SoS was the first one to do it. 2001:818:E67B:8D00:35CE:24CE:BE7A:D843 (talk) 11:47, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

First person to win 3 world championships in a row

edit

If youve followed the recent tournaments I'm sure you saw but just a few days ago Serral placed first in IEM Katowice 2024, becoming the first person to ever win 3 StarCraft 2 world championships. As for sources i don't know exactly what to link but heres the relevant tournament: https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/IEM_Katowice/2024 and Wikipedias own page on the topic showing he has indeed won 3 times: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/StarCraft_II_World_Championship_Series, is this significant enough to warrant a mention under section StarCraft 2 career? Serral's 2024 win was not a "world championship", in 2024 the world championship tournament changed from IEM Katowice to Esports World Cup. So Serral only has two world championship wins, in 2018 and 2022. 2001:5A8:49C9:3700:38BE:E86D:E87E:3F67 (talk) 02:03, 22 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
If you would look at the timestamp of my original post you would see it was made before EWC was announced as the 2024 SC2 world cup and at that time Serral was considered a 3 time world champion. Gröngroda (talk) 19:52, 22 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
