I found a headstone.. at a mausoleum.. with this guys name on it.. date of death 1929.. and called Captain.. died in October of 1929 aged 60-61. Listed on Find a Grave.. but, his name is spelled DOUGLAS. Cook County, Des Plaines, IL. Buried at All Saints Catholic Church. Says he was buried. I’m almost certain same fella. But this article says he went down with the ship. I do believe the information is now NOT CORRECT. I have made available the link to the find a grave.. who wants to edit?? I’d prefer not to.
