S-Line Corridor ? – The current name is bad in multiple ways:

  • "Corridor" doesn't really help disambiguate this from other uses at S Line
  • "S Line" in this context really refers to Main Line (Seaboard Air Line Railroad), which the scope of this article isn't. Even the official website of North Carolina itself says "The S-Line is a freight rail corridor, owned by CSX, that connects Richmond to Tampa, Fla."
  • The scope of this article isn't even the abandoned section of the railroad, which is instead covered by Norlina Subdivision. The scope of this article is really a specific project to rebuild that section of track, but the title doesn't signify this at all.

A bit wordy, but what about S-Line Raleigh to Richmond project? There are probably better options, but this is the best I could think of right now. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 05:50, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
