TV shows
editIt would be great to document the dates of the TV shows he was on, including The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and the Cosby Show. Badagnani 02:33, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Needs verification
editNew information that needs verification: "He performed with Bill Cosby's backing band at the 1997 Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl. He also made TV appearances, including on "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson." Badagnani 21:07, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Bum Reference
editThe second reference has been scrubbed by whoever owns the original domain. The reference should be replaced with - https://web.archive.org/web/20000918101145/http://cjonline.com/stories/060699/com_bagpipes.shtml - to Harely's story practicing bagpipe blues from falling into obscurity. My own understanding of how to edit wikipedia in this way is limited, so i hope that another bagpipe blues enthusiast w/ better know how can correct the reference.
PS. fuck eu.cjonline for scrubbing the record in place of topical shite
PPS. RIP the greatest bagpipe jazz player to every live (a month short of two decades)
PPPS. will check back on the anniversary of his death to make sure his memory has been properly documented ~2026-36746-80 (talk) 00:23, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
