Shouldn't we merge this article with Lagoa,_Rio_de_Janeiro? --Pinnecco 02:18, 6 November 2005 (UTC)

As this article refers to the water body, and the other to the neighborhood, they should link to and reference one another. However they are separate entities so I would vote not to merge them.Enviropearson (talk) 02:12, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

I noticed that in three points on this entry Wikipedia itself in Portuguese was used as a reference. Is this correct and acceptable?
