Old Ride On logo: Public domain?
editWas looking at Ride On's old logo, File:Ride On logo.png, and was thinking that it might be too simple to be eligible for copyright, and therefore be in the public domain. In other words, changing the license from non-free to {{pd-text}}. Thoughts? SchuminWeb (Talk) 19:21, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
FLASH bus lanes
editAs of 2022 the existing FLASH service doesn't use bus lanes. I think the reference was from a promotional material before the system entered service. 2600:1003:B03A:3647:3DE1:F6D7:FB3C:128F (talk) 23:57, 17 June 2022 (UTC)
Redundant information about bus fleet and other low-interest topics
editI have noticed that the History section, and fleet roster contain a lot of redundant information about the bus fleet (i.e. the exact dates specific individual buses entered service, excessive mentions of fleet numbers, and using transit enthusiast slangs). The reason I believe this information is redundant and not needed in the article is because it really only caters to a very small audience (i.e. transit enthusiasts), and most of this information I consider to be redundant appears to go directly against Wikipedia's content policies (Specifically Wikipedia:NOTGUIDE and Wikipedia:NOTDB). I have updated the history page and fleet roster to remove most of the redundant information. It's one thing to have a list of the bus fleet, but small details about specific buses (such as the exact date one specific bus entered service) is generally only of interest to a very small audience. With that being said, some information about specific individual buses such as involvement in accidents may be of interest to a much larger audience, so there isn't a one-size-fits-all type of solution for this issue.

Edit summary problems
editFor the edit I made in Ride On (bus) at 20:27 18 August 2025, I typed the following:
i added the word "diesel" and it doesn't what year buses with fire or accident damage retired.
I forgot to type the word "matter," it doesn't MATTER what year buses with fire or accident damage retired. I cannot change any of my edit summaries so I decided to let everyone know here (talk page) that I forgot the word "matter." _____________________________________________________________

An issue with someone else's edit summary
editHey guys,
Just wanted to let y'all know. For the edit 50.144.142.211 made on October 27, 2025 at 19:31, it said, "Only 3 old ass 09 HEVs remain in service. (Haven't tracked since late August 2025[5347 hasn't tracked since the second half of September 2025.])."
That edit summary is 5% wrong because there is another bus that hasn't tracked since the second half of September 2025 and that bus is 5346. 151.200.29.26 (talk) 02:21, 28 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much once again!😁 50.144.142.211 (talk) 18:54, 28 October 2025 (UTC)

Discontinued Routes
editOk so why are the discontinued routes not notable on the Wikipedia but they are fine on the WMATA Metrobus, NYC Bus Routes, and NJ Transit wikipedia pages? They also have sources (though not much) but it looked passable to be allowed on the Wikipedia... Dcspotter21 (talk) 17:38, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
