RSC Roles
editRichard Griffiths did not play Falstaff for the Royal Shakespeare Company (though he probably would have done if he had stayed with them longer). He played Falstaff in "The Merry Wives of Windsor" for the BBC Shakespeare, and in both parts of "Henry IV" for the Arkangel Complete Shakespeare audio recording. I do not at present have the time or resources to confirm this, partly because the RSC's online archive of productions disappeared some time ago (unless anyone can direct me to a new location for it).

It then occurred to me that Theatricalia website has most of the RSC's info, and from it I took parts that he did play and which fitted the context. 'Manager' at the top of his career details looks to me to be a confusion of the fact that he probably had jobs as an Assistant Stage Manager, so-called, i.e. a theatre worker who does all sorts of things, possibly including acting.

Picture is not face-on
editThis picture of Richard Griffiths does not show most of his face properly. I couldn't even recognise him. It only makes sense to have a clear image of someone's face for their article. It also would be a bit more respectful. We could find another one since there would be many.FrequencyComb (talk) 21:06, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Help needed to repair critical damage due to vandalistic deletions
editAnonymous user:14.139.160.231 has committed vandalism and deleted a complete subsection about his early years. I seem to be unable to repair the damage because a certain link seems to be "blacklisted" and I can't ascertain which.... The article must be repaired somehow but I'm clueless about how to do it...
