Confusing

edit

The article is unclear about the relationship (or difference) between Armistice Day and Remembrance Day. The header to this article says 'Not to be confused with Armistice Day', but the intro to that article says 'Armistice Day, later known as Remembrance Day'. Are they the same thing? In Finland is National Veterans Day, known as "Kansallinen Veteraanipäivä," is observed on April 27th each year. That should be add to it should be added under the title "Similar holiday commemorating veterans"

It honors Finnish veterans who fought in the Winter War (1939–1940) and Continuation War (1941–1944) against the Soviet Union. The day is dedicated to remembering their sacrifices and contributions during the wars. J0nzki (talk) 10:34, 21 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

"Some institutions observe this solemn occasion at 1111h on the day, adding two more soldiers to the ranks." 2601:182:501:6780:F584:5E3D:604C:1F1A (talk) 01:39, 22 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Fixed but, being the outcome of a misunderstanding, it needs evidentiary support. Doug butler (talk) 02:04, 22 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Move date to 2026

edit

At 12 Nov 2025, 2pm UTC, the date can be moved to 2026, since by this time, everyone has gone through Remembrance Day. NewbieGuy (talk) 22:45, 11 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
