Should the images of naked children be taken down?

I think so but it’s against the rules maybe I’m not sure. What do u guys think? The changes I would like are that the images of naked children (real photos not a diagram) be removed or replaced by another image. OrangeLolipopSnail (talk) 11:44, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

Illustrations
editWow, the illustrations show only white people. Is that because only they undergo puberty? I never knew! There's a diagram near the top of the article illustrating the hormone cycle in males and females. The two (partial) body outlines are identically sized. Women are smaller than men, on average. Why the distortion? Second, the female brain, on average is significantly smaller than the male brain. Again, why the distortion as the diagram shows them virtually the same size? (Note: given the power-law of animal mass to brain mass, while the human female brain is smaller, it is (on average) generally larger in proportion to body mass than the male's.) I'd call this woke, but the absence of any evidence that humans not European whites exists speaks against that. There seems to be way, way, way too much emphasis on genitals here (in the photographs). I count 7 of the 9 photos to be of genitals. Why so many? Seems completely unjustified, especially with the very white-european bias. I assure you other populations would look quite a bit different in their development. I recall there used to be a website that described the changes girls underwent during puberty. One of them, that I don't see mentioned here is that their skin changes. I vaguely recall it not being only their lips and face, but that I'm not sure of. What I DO recall is that it was claimed that the lips tended to become larger and skin thinner (thus appearing redder). It could be this was a myth, and I'm unable to recall the site name. Finally, is it literally ridiculous that mood and emotion aren't a core subject here! What's wrong with the editors, I wonder.~2026-92463-4 (talk) 01:49, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
Bias Hatnote
editSince November 2024 (this edit) there has been a hatnote marking this page as human-biased. It has been over a year since it was added and I don't see a resolution to this matter coming anytime soon. I will therefore make this proposal: move the contents of this page over to the namespace Puberty in humans, which would resolve the issue of scope, while also opening up the "Puberty" namespace for expansion with unbiased content.
