Macedonian PGA
editIsnt he supposed to be listed under FYROM or FYR Macedonia? The UN lists him that way... Philly boy92 (talk) 19:01, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
Nice list, but
editWhat does the President of the UN general assembly actually do? Jeremy885 21:07, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. This article needs to be expanded --gejyspa (talk) 16:35, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
Blue and gray?
editWhy are certain presidents highlighted with blue or gray? What does it mean? In any case, the section should state the nature of such colour-coding, if it uses any. I think I should remove those colours, so please give me a reason not to - that is, if there is one.--Mátyás (talk) 11:10, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Vuk Jeremić
editWhen will Vuk Jeremić take the seat? --WhiteWriterspeaks 10:22, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
Incumbent
editCould somebody update the page to match the incumbent Miroslav? It still talks as if past president Thomson was the incumbent. --NickAB1 (talk) 12:53, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

Rahman is NOT YET president of the GA
editJust putting this here to avoid any further misunderstandings/premature edits. Rahman was elected president of the GA for the 81st session. However, he is not yet in office. Rahman will assume office at the start of the 81st session of the GA, which will be in early September 2026. See also the entry below the current president, Annalena Baerbock: Her term started September 2025 (as correctly stated below her portrait picture) even though she was elected much earlier.
As such, it is appropriate that Rahman is already added to the list of Presidents further below, given that he was elected president of the GA. But it is incorrect to list Rahman as the incumbent. If the GA were called to assemble tomorrow (or at any other time before the 81st session starts in September), Annalena Baerbock would be the one presiding.
To avoid any doubt, note that the official UN website still lists AB as the president: https://www.un.org/pga/80/ DeCoolRuler (talk) 18:27, 2 June 2026 (UTC)
