Legality

Have there been any court cases here? Is it considered Product bundling when I download say a painting program and end up with unwanted antiviruses, or is it called something else?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.90.116.67 (talk) 10:19, 7 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

No. It would trigger a huge wave of protest as no one can take Norton to court, one of the biggest PUP on the market. There are other similar examples like McAfee. 77.125.78.130 (talk)  Preceding undated comment added 20:58, 25 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Doubtful citations

edit

Citations 8-10 have little to know connection to the context. Citation 9 is a broken link. Citations 8,10 refer to articles talking purely about the financial success of small technology companies and stock market news related to them. Only The Wall Street Journal actually talks about the issue. 77.125.78.130 (talk) 20:54, 25 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
