Wives

One source says he married a Shawnee woman in 1774 at age 26; another says he and his son escaped Logan’s attack in 1782. These both predate his marriage in 1783. It would be highly unusual on the frontier not to marry until one is 35 years old, given life expectancy was only about 35 years back then. 168.103.230.2 (talk) 14:30, 30 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
