Official website stats
editThis is regarding an additional few sentences about the true goal scoring record of Pele. His website specifically specifies he scored 1,283 goals. Additionally, it is said he played in 1,363 (guess) games. We know a lot of these games were friendlies and not considered official. However, it should be stated in this article that his goal scoring was more prolific than is suggested, as in a note or sentence should be added... Thoughts, please. More information needed 1969–1974
editThis was in a hidden comment on the page, but I thought it would be more useful here. The page needs additional information for the period 1969–1974. OrdinaryOtter (talk) 03:40, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
Health
editThere was a confusing situation with the two sections "Health" and "Death and Funeral". Though both sections talked about Pelé's declining health, there were contradictions between the two. For now, I have removed the paragraph about his decline in the Health section, since the most important information is in the Death section anyways. I have put all the sources from the removed paragraph in the "reference ideas" section on this talk page. OrdinaryOtter (talk) 04:34, 13 April 2026 (UTC)
