Panamanian BaHai count error

edit

The number of Bahais in Panamna is inconsistently listed as 2% but not mentioned in the pie chart with several smaller faiths, and it would be behind the one listed as third at 1.5%. I suspect the number should be two-tenths of a percent.

The Political Culture section should be updated with the most [election that occurred in May 2024]. There is also a typo in the last sentence of the first paragraph. "Toke" should be replaced with "took". CosmicApple (talk) 06:26, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Done I'm not entirely sure the most recent election needs to be mentioned here (what does this have to do with political culture?), but I updated it for now. I also removed the duplicate sentence. Jamedeus (talk) 07:46, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Most of the article lacks citations.

Not sure how that's addressed. Seananony (talk) 04:10, 5 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

In final paragraph of the History section, please

CHANGE

In 2024, due to a rapid rise of Chinese immigration to Panama supplanting the local population and now forming 4% of the people,[98][99] of which, they are accused by the United States of spying for the Chinese Communist Party,[100] in the strategic isthmus of Panama which is crucial for the trade in the Americas, thus, American President Donald Trump has threatened to sanction Panama unless the threat of China is neutralized.[101]

TO

Due to immigration of Chinese to Panama over 150 years, the Chinese in Panama now form up to 6% of the population. That number may be higher but it is unknown due to successful assimilation. However, the less assimilated still face social and political barriers, from both within and outside the country. They are accused by the United States of spying for the Chinese Communist Party,[100] in the strategic isthmus of Panama, which is crucial for the trade in the Americas. American President Donald Trump has threatened to sanction Panama unless what he calls the threat of China is neutralized.[101]

Not done: Your version is better than the original but still isn't supported by the cited sources. I am instead going to remove the material entirely for now since there is such a failure of source-text integrity here. Day Creature (talk) 23:12, 5 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
