no official source from within the dotr seems to confirm the numbering, however the numbering scheme seems to point to it being EM1000 instead of the EM10000 that was speculated. For example, the car EM10014M is the 4th motor car of the 1st trainset. The formula is as follows: EM10xxyz, where xx is the set number (01-51 in this case), y is the number of the type of car it is (this car is the 4th motor car, hence why it is 4), and Z is the type of car it is (M for motor, L for leading, and T for trailer). The final digit in the numbering scheme is used purely to denote what number the car is under its type, and does not affec tthe set number in the final classification. This is proven through the next set, which features the car EM10024M. All of the trainsets so far follow this numbering. The trainsets also do not exceed the 100 trainset mark, unlike the 13000 class which exceeds 100 LRVs. Please feel free to correct / discuss this numbering  :) Tootsboi (talk) 16:12, 1 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
