Logo
editThis is the first Doors album sporting a different logo for the name. I've read -- can't remember where -- that the logo was purposefully changed to reflect the fact that this is for all intents and purposes a "new" Doors. While some might argue that this line-up is not an actual "Doors line-up", should the article reflect this logo tidbit? If someone can find any reference(s) to it, please add. 128.214.133.2 07:36, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
What about "Soft Parade," "Morrison Hotel" and "L.A. Woman?" Those all had different logos than the "classic" logo.--71.205.219.29 (talk) 03:23, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Background
edit"Following the critical and commercial success of L.A. Woman and Jim Morrison's death in 1971, the surviving members of the Doors continued as a trio to record their seventh album." This is incorrect, as Morrison was still alive when the recording of the album began in June 1971. Jah77 (talk) 17:13, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
- And it looks like this wasn't actually supported by the source given, either, as Densmore clearly states that the recording was already underway when the band learned about Morrison's death. Jah77 (talk) 18:06, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
