Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Oregon Route 569. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Any idea why it starts at 3? That doesn't make any sense? Are they extending it? It's not mentioned in the article. thetechie@enwiki (she/they | talk) 03:18, 23 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

One guess: 30th Avenue from Hilyard to I-5, "One other section of the initial proposal was built. This section is the stretch of 30th Avenue between the Amazon Park neighborhood and Lane Community College—a four-lane expressway which includes two interchanges. This route does not connect directly to the existing stretch of Belt Line Road." It was never marked as part of the Beltline highway, but it is a 3-mile stretch? However, the Beltline mile markers start at the west end of the Beltline, and this strech of 30th Avenue is south of the east end of Beltline... is there an un-constructed stretch of Beltline in west Eugene? Not sure. If they meant for the 30th segment to touch the west segment, surely it would take more than 3 miles to do that. thetechie@enwiki (she/they | talk) 22:26, 23 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Apparently one of the sources says this:
In a sign that this highway was intended to be more, Exit 6 comes three miles in, atop the gantry pole that housed the marquee shield on this page. OR 569 was at one point envisioned as a full beltway, and the zero point appears to be compass south (roughly Chambers St., with no highways on that side of the city).
I don't know where Chamber St is, but possibly we should add a note about the mileage? Or update the mile chart and explain? thetechie@enwiki:~$ she/they | talk | contributions 01:22, 24 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
This map shows the streets involved. Greenhill Road, which is between Danebo and Bertelson looks like about a 3 mile stretch that was never converted to the Beltway. Unforntualely, without a source, my supposition about Greenhill runs afoule of WP:NOR. Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 03:41, 24 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
Another article says part of West 11th was named Belt Line, part of US 69 in 1978. Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 20:08, 24 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
...and this article, quote: "Order placing one No Left sign on Belt Line Road #300, approx 300 feet east of River Ave." Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 02:08, 25 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
