duplicate species name?

Is this the same animal as Sphiggurus spinosus (listed under the same common name in the New World porcupine article)? WolfmanSF 05:07, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Apparently the use of the same name for Sphiggurus spinosus was an error; according to Woods and Kilpatrick (2005) Sphiggurus spinosus should be called the "Paraguaian Hairy Dwarf Porcupine". WolfmanSF 07:29, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
