Operation Steel Tiger
editIn December 1965, USMC 1st ANGLICO, FMF,Pac in Hawaii was asked to test listening and detection devises for use on the Ho Chi Trail. In January 1966 as a US Marine electronic tech in civilian cloths I when with two civilians to Vietnam then to Thailand with case of TS devices to be implanted on the Ho Chi Trail. A few years ago, at The National Museum of the U S Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base Dayton Ohio there was a display of operation steel tiger, declassified. As my son was listening to the VC talking; I told him of my work on OST. One of the interpreters overheard me talking and said there had been many people in the air to visit this display but I was the first person on the ground to visit.
