The history of university sport in Ontario and Quebec are very much intertwined together. After World War II, the universities in Ontario and Quebec were divided into three groups: those in the Ontario-Quebec University Athletic Association, those in the Ottawa-St. Lawrence Athletic Association, and those in the Ontario Intercollegiate Athletic Association. In 1971, the OIAA dissolved and the universities were reorganized into the Ontario University Athletic Association and the Quebec University Athletic Association. The former changed its name in 1997 to Ontario University Athletics.  Preceding unsigned comment added by MBob (talkcontribs)

Took the "Sir" out of Wilfrid Laurier University. The university name does not include the "Sir". Camcurwood 15:04, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
