Guaymí language → Ngäbere – The language is now known by the name Ngäbere, as it is the preferred name by the Ngäbe people and aligns with current sources (e.g. Ethnologue: https://www.ethnologue.com/language/gym/ ). NerdyEpiscopalian (talk) 18:21, 25 March 2026 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). 162 etc. (talk) 05:04, 27 March 2026 (UTC) — Relisting. - Support – I know term frequency on search engines is not a reliable source, but particularly on Google Scholar, Ngäbere language is twice as common as Guaymí language. Regardless, the Ngäbe people prefer Ngäbere. IlmarisenVasara 10:00, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
- Support. Ngäbere is used throughout the article and is the WP:COMMONNAME. 🪐Kepler-1229b | talk | contribs🪐 16:36, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
